Welcome to Week 2 of my new series, "Confession Friday." What have you been up to this week? Here's what I've been doing: Remember how I confessed last week that I don't even know where to start when it comes to cleaning our bedroom, and that I just keep moving things from one side of the room to the other? Well, I'm still doing that. I've been to 5 doctor appointments for my jaw this week, all with kids in tow, and utilized electronics at every one. I think my chiropractor is becoming ... continue reading...

Copycat Almond Joy Bites (Dairy-Free and Delicious!)
I'm actually not a huge fan of Almond Joy, even back in my SAD (Standard American Diet) days it wouldn't have been my candy bar of choice. So, if you're like me, and you have no idea what it means, the literal definition in French is "under vacuum," and ... continue reading...
Shrimp and Poblano Peppers
I won't lie--this recipe has a bit of a kick in it. However, all the kids loved it. I just made sure they had plenty of water handy, and told them they could skip eating the poblanos, as those are the "spicy" culprit. Voulez-vous une érection violente?
