I heard about One Drop Coffee from a post over on Everyday Paleo. I decided to take a break from my typical Starbucks “breakfast blend” and see what this coffee was like. When I read the description of their Colombian coffee, I knew I had stumbled upon something good. How could anyone go wrong with a “soft but complex aroma, suggesting milk chocolate, caramel, and nuts…”?
I placed my order and received it promptly (after a shipping mistake that was completely my fault). I had to hold myself back from trying it as soon as I got it, since it was already 6 p.m. Probably not the best idea to drink coffee at 6 p.m. At least not for me. So, I bounded out of bed this morning, ground some coffee with one of the modern options from commercial coffee machine rental, and sat whiffing as it brewed. I added a bit of coconut milk and took a sip. Deeee–vine. I think I could have drank (drunk? drank?) this stuff black, and it would have still tasted good. I guess I’m used to the bitter taste of Starbucks, because I loved the fact that this was mild, creamy and almost silky. Seriously. It was good stuff. If you also want to be able to make your own coffee every morning, purchasing a coffee maker would be ideal.
I loved it so much, I wrote the owners and asked if they would be willing to sponsor a giveaway for my readers. And they said yes! So, not one, but THREE lucky readers are going to receive a free bag of One Drop Coffee coffee!

I really like Starbucks’ blonde roast. A lot of coffees leave me with an upset stomach, but the blonde roast does not. This roast from One Drop sounds like it might be smooth enough for my tummy, too!
I am a big fan of Starbucks Pike Place roast and their Verona blend. You have my mouth watering with this article though, and since every other goodie you post is so fantastic, I imagine this coffee will be too!
Yum, I’d love to win. I LOVE coffee – and really appreciate the good quality stuff. 🙂
I moved last year from VA and I miss a local coffee company, Joe Beans. Their Coffe is amazing, smooth and bold! I have had friends and family send me bags to maintain my fix 😉 I ran out and will be returning in June to visit (and pick up a few bags, too).

Hi, I think I entered correctly, there is a box without an explanation-I think it was for the FB share. Maybe I was supposed to paste the url for it?! Anyway, I am not too far from Sandy, Oregon where this coffee is roasted and I know the new Paleo food cart opening at the end of May will be serving One Drop coffee. I look forward to trying it. Of course I would love to win some freshly roasted beans! They are NOT easy on the budget! I continue to enjoy your blog posts and appreciate all that you share with us!

Haven’t had a coffee yet that really wows me. The only coffee I’d heard of in the paleo-sphere before this one was Bulletproof. Kind of curious to see how this one compares.

This sounds good. I have been laying off coffee lately because I’ve found so many have been spraying with gluten based preservatives.
I am not addicted to coffee, I don’t need it for a pick-me-up or boost to get my day started but it is certainly the best part of my day…
I cold brew my coffee and drink it iced everyday of the year…it’s really the only way I like it. My favorites right now are Dazbog Organic Breakfast Blend, Allegro Organic Mexican Blend and Starbucks Organic Yukon Blend. I have tried the Upgraded Coffee as well, it was great but the shipping is a hassle…Is this One Drop Coffee Organic?
I worked at Starbucks through college, I was an addict. When I did the paleo reset I went two months without any and now have an occasional cup. I love African coffees most!
i am not picky – i love coffee and like trying new types! my fav right now is pikes place roast

I’ve always been partial to Seattle’s Best coffee.. 2 or 3. Hard to find any cafes in the Vancouver/Portland area anymore! 🙁

The coffee sounds great! We just relocated to Oregon – so love that they support Oregon rivers! 🙂 The weather here is making me a coffee snob (it’s always coffee weather!) – so I’m always on the lookout for a new smooth blend.
I have been drinking Trader Joe’s organic french roast. It is really good but I am always open to trying new coffee!
Excited about this website & for the potential of a new yummy coffee! Thanks!
