Um, I have big news.

No, I’m not pregnant. Five kids is good.

But, something just happened. I just did this: 

Books and Such signing contract

Friends, I just officially signed a contract with literary agent Rachelle Gardner of Books & Such Literary Agency! Rachelle and I are going to make a great team, I can already tell. She’s nice and a go-getter and pretty darn swell. What’s not to like??

You might wonder what this means. 

It means I’m writing a book! 

I’m not quite ready to tell you everything about the book yet, but I can say, it’s not a cookbook, and it has to do with health & wellness! 

And Rachelle’s job, with all her experience in helping people on how to publish a children’s book? 

Her job is to help keep me on track with writing my book, and to shop my book around to publishers, as well as give me insight and support that only someone in her position can do. 

Can I just tell you I’m kind of freaking out?? 

You guys! 

I’m writing a book!!! And God is amazing!!!

Oh, and P.S. — Yes, that is a Pac-Man shirt I’m wearing. Cuz what else would you want to sign your very first contract in?!
