Lemon Garlic Pork Chops
I’ve never been a huge pork chop fan. It always seem that they’re kind of dry. Or maybe it’s that I’m overcooking them. Regardless, they just aren’t my favorite. Give me a good steak over a pork chop any day. That is, until these Lemon Garlic Pork Chops.
These are a breeze to throw together for any weeknight dinner, and are tender, succulent, and packed with flavor. It got the gold star approval from all five of my kiddos and Superman, so it’s definitely one to put in the recipe box. =) It’s on our weekly meal plan for next week! I cannot believe what a difference Real Plans has made for me. You would think as a food blogger, I’m in no need of weekly meal plans, but you would be wrong if you thought that. =) I usually spend one day a week recipe testing for my blog, and the rest of the days, I struggle just like all of you! I have been so happy with Real Plans that I’m sharing them with everyone I know! lol

- 3 lbs pork chops
- 7-8 cloves of garlic cut into chunks
- Juice of one lemon
- 1/2 cup butter or ghee
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 cup fresh grated parmigiano reggiano cheese optional
Ingredients

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Heat butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add garlic, lemon juice, salt & pepper and lower heat.
- Cook on low for about 5 minutes, until fragrant, then set aside.
- Set pork chops into a glass baking dish and pour butter mixture over top, straining out the garlic if desired, making sure it covers each chop.
- Sprinkle with cheese (if desired) and bake for about 25-35 minutes, until cooked through (cooking time will vary depending on thickness of your chops)
