It’s slow cooker season! I needed something simple to throw in the crockpot the other day, and I don’t think it could have gotten any easier than this Crockpot BBQ Pork Picnic Roast! Don’t know what a pork picnic roast is? HERE’S a great article that talks about the different cuts. But if you want the gist of it, it’s what a lot of people use for pulled pork recipes.

- 3-4 lb pork picnic roast
- 1 jar of your favorite BBQ sauce (I know it sounds weird but my homemade ketchup tastes amazing!)
- salt to taste
Ingredients

- Put the roast in the crockpot.
- Pour 3/4 of the BBQ sauce over the roast.
- Turn on low and cook for 4-6 hours on low.
- Note: Mine was frozen when I put it in, and it still turned out awesome!
- That's it!

Hi, Nicole! That BBQ sauce is actually an organic sauce from Whole Foods. It’s just what I had on hand at the time! But, I’ve used my homemade sauce, too!
