What’s for Dinner 1/9-1/13
First off, I can't believe we're already on Day 8 of the Whole30! I'm feeling great. My old bounce is coming back and even though I baked THIS chocolate cake for my 2nd oldest son's 8th birthday the other day, for probably the first time in my life, I wasn't salivating and whining in my head about how I couldn't have any. The Price of Paleo
Before we changed our diet a few years ago, our food budget was about$600/month for our family of seven. Well, I say "about" but it was exactly $600 or less being that we use the envelope system, and when the money's gone, it's gone. Granted, one of the kids was just a baby at that time, and food prices were considerably less. Over the course of the ensuing year, our budget increased to $1,100/month.
