Oh, peaches. This time of year, you can drive around and see peach trees weighed down with a loads of ripe fruit, ready for picking. Our peach tree is only 4 years old, but was filled with rich ripe peaches this week. And I didn’t even pause for a moment when I saw them, because I knew cobbler was coming.
A few weeks ago, I came up with this sweet blackberry cobbler recipe. We’ve made it five times since. I guess you could say we like cobbler. =)
This gluten free peach cobbler recipe is simple and of course, delicious!

- Filling:
- 10-14 peaches peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup organic granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup organic brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- pinch nutmeg
- 2 tsp tapioca flour or arrorowroot starch
- Topping:
- ¾ cup organic sugar
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 cup gluten-free 1 to 1 baking flour
- ½ cup butter melted
Ingredients

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a 9x9 glass pan, stir the peaches, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and tapioca flour until combined.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the ¾ cup sugar, cinnamon, egg and GF flour with a fork until crumbly, and sprinkle over peaches.
- Drizzle butter evenly over topping.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving, and enjoy!
So, take a second out of your day and give this gluten free peach cobbler a try. Plop on some ice cream if you desire. Can frozen peaches and coconut flour be substituted in this recipe?

Coconut flour is a whole other beast, and unfortunately doesn’t sub well for almond flour. Sorry!

I used canned peaches and coconut flour ( it was winter and all I had) and everyone thought it was good but hadn’t made it any other way so we didn’t know the difference. 👍😊
