Here’s my Whole30 Costco shopping guide!
I’m on Day 10 of my Whole30 today. I gotta say, I’m feeling pretty good!
Every time I go to Costco, I seem to be pleasantly surprised at the new, healthier, cleaner products they have. I thought I would put together a Whole30 shopping list so you can see how easy it is to shop at Costco and fill your cart with healthy, whole foods! If any of these items aren’t at your Costco, fill out a request form–they actually read them! Believe it or not, they stock their shelves according to the trends in your area. So if a lot of people want organic, healthier foods, then you’ll get them!
Maybe you’re not doing a Whole30, but you eat Paleo, or at least eat gluten free or like to eat real foods. I’ll have some of those items listed below as well!
Whole30 Costco Shopping Guide
Fresh Meats & Seafood
There are so many options when it comes to fresh meat & seafood at Costco. Of course, grass-fed/grass-finished is best, but we can’t always afford that, so we do what we can! Here are some options:

Oh, the produce! So many wonderful fruits and veggies to buy at Costco! I try to stay organic with as many fruits and veggies that I can when we eat the skin. For things like bananas, I don’t worry about it.

Saw your post. I’m about to start my 2nd Whole30. Was at Costco this morning and they now also have prepackaged beets that you just boil (in the packs). I loved shopping at Costco and made little pre packs of “trail mix” to help throughout the day.
Mainly the nut mixture with some dried bananas (I did myself), and coconut flakes.
Hope your 30 went well

The cashews at Costco are soaked in peanut oil. Are they still OK for whole 30?

Thank you for bringing that to my attention! Can’t believe I missed that!

I discovered this when I went to buy cashews to make a “cheese” sauce. My son is allergic to peanuts and thankfully I noticed before we checked out but I was so angry! Who soaks cashews in peanut oil!? I made sure to leave a comment!

They do sell raw or dry toasted too. 🙂

I was so happy to see Honeyville almond flour at Costco. However, I recently saw an asterisk on the price which means they don’t plan to continue stocking it and it will soon be gone. I definitely put in a request to continue carrying it on a comment card. Hope others will do the same.

I agree! Costco is an excellent choice for Whole30 shopping.

Victoria White Linen spaghetti sauce is compliant and very good.
I have 4 Costcos near me and found it at only one.
Most of the canned organic tomato products contain no sugar (tomato paste and diced tomatoes) EXCEPT for their tomato sauce.
The canned mushrooms are great – small cans, good for omelettes.
I know you mentioned the Avocado oil – it is a good buy – we use it to make compliant Mayo with our immersion (stick) blender from Costco!
