I received a sample of a new product in the mail called Yulu yogurt. It’s an “Aussie style” yogurt, inspired by an authentic Australian recipe, that’s similar to greek yogurt. It’s “double smoothed” so the texture is amazing. It’s thick, creamy and non-GMO too! We don’t eat a lot of yogurt in our house, but after finding out that a certain popular brand uses GMOs, I’m careful to check into ingredients now.
From Yulu:
“Hello Yulu. Goodbye Greek.
While many consider Greek yogurt an “acquired taste,” we’ve found that most people fall for Yulu from the very first spoonful. It’s extra creamy and delicious, without the too-sour quality some find in Greek. And with 9 grams of protein in every cup, it’s a nourishing choice too.”
There are plenty of ways to serve yogurt–with granola, in a smoothie, or even on its own! I wanted to come up with a creative, fun way to serve Yulu yogurt to my kids, and I came up with these Strawberry Grape Snowdrops!
The recipe’s simple:
First, get some Yulu yogurt (I used strawberry).
Second, get some grapes.
Third, skewer the grapes and roll in the yogurt.
Lastly, place the dipped grapes onto a plate covered with parchment paper and freeze for about an hour, until frozen.
ENJOY!
My kids thought these were a blast to eat, and asked me for more when they were done!
