So, this is my third Stitch Fix review. Did you know there’s a new Stitch Fix app?! Check it out, cuz it has a really cool feature that you’re gonna love!
2. Order your first fix! Your card will be charged a $20 styling fee, but if you keep any item [one or more] you will be credited back the $20. Because of this I always recommend keeping at least one item or you are essentially giving away $20 for nothing in return. You will receive five items in your fix. I personally only want clothing in my fix (as opposed to jewelry or other accessories) so I just always let my stylist know!
3. Decide what you want and what you want to send back [in a postage paid envelope]! You have 3 business days to do so – use this time to try everything on, see what you have in your closet that pairs well with it and don’t be afraid to say yes to something that you wouldn’t normally. That’s what makes Stitch Fix so fun!
It should be noted that while I have chosen to receive monthly fixes, this is in no way a subscription service and you are able to decide when you want another fix, whether that be in 6 months or 2 years from your first fix! I know some peeps are curious on the pricing, I cover all the prices below!
Here are this month’s items:
JUST BLACK Adorra Skinny Jean
($88 full price, $66 with discount)
Holy cow, these jeans! I thought the jeans in my previous two fixes were anomalies because they were just so darn comfortable, but now I’m thinking this just may be what I get when I get quality jeans?? They fit like a glove and were stretchy just like I like ’em! I got my cute wedge booties on Amazon HERE.
Verdict: KEEP!
KENSIE Mally Ponte Jacket
($88 full price, $66 with discount)
This pic actually features three items from this fix: the Kensie Mally Jacket, Papermoon Kyro Button Up Top, and Just Black Adorra Skinny Jeans. Again, the comfy factor just is amazing to me. This material is thick, stretchy, and obviously high-quality. Definitely a perfect fall item to help spruce up a boring outfit! Black flats from Ross.
I think I like this better open, but you’ll see another styling option below with the scarf that I really liked!
Verdict: KEEP!
PAPERMOON Kyro Button Up Top
($48 full price, $36 with discount)
I think Christina was right in saying this top is a wardrobe staple–so many things I could do with this! I loved that it wasn’t paper-thin and that it has so much versatility. It’s definitely something I will be able to wear over and over. PS–I look a little funny in this pic because it was raining! Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do to get a blog post done! There’s those booties again, and my purple pants are from Old Navy.
Question: Should I have tucked this in in the front??
Verdict: KEEP!
ALICE BLUE Boulder Button Down Blouse
($58 full price, $43 with discount)
I think what I loved most about this shirt is that it isn’t something I would normally pick, and I loved it! I loved Christina’s tip to style this with the scarf for an added “pop” because I think it took the outfit to a whole new level. =) This is a light, airy shirt and is another item that could be styled a bunch of ways to make this worth keeping for sure!
Verdict: KEEP!
OCTAVIA Beau Fringe Infinity Scarf
($34 full price, $25 with discount)
Sorry this pic is a little blurry…again, the rain! Did you know you can mix these two colors together?? I sure didn’t! This is something I would have avoided like the plague before because I’m too scared to be bold like that. But when I saw them together, I knew it was a match made in heaven! Here I paired the scarf with the Kensie Mally Jacket and Just Black Adorra Skinny Jeans and some flats to make a complete outfit! I think I might be in love with this scarf.
Verdict: KEEP!
Here’s the money breakdown:
If I chose to return an item, I would lose my 25% discount. Luckily, I loved everything in this fix, so it wasn’t even a hard decision! My total after my $79 discount and $30 referral credit was $187.
Remember, if there is something I want to send back, I will often keep it and sell it in one of the Stitch Fix Facebook groups that I’m part of! That way, I’m able to keep my discount, and get rid of the item(s) I don’t want!
Just a tip: A huge reason why I had such great success again is because I provided my Pinterest board to the stylist. It was seriously like she knew me!
