Any substitute for the coconut milk? I’d throw these in the crockpot this minute if I had coconut milk in the house!
Life Made Full says
Hi, Renee! You could probably use almond milk or regular milk–I just haven’t tried it yet to be sure!

Did you add half a cup of coconut oil to the brownie mixture in addition to greasing the crockpot with it? Thanks!
Life Made Full says
Hi, Melissa! Yes, this was in addition to the greasing. Hope that helps!

These look delish. Any suggestions for replacements for the coffee? Thanks!
Life Made Full says
You can just leave the coffee out and add water instead, and they’re still great!

Hi there,
I shared this with a friend of mine who enjoys baking and he had a hard time with it. He said that after just 15 minutes it seemed to be setting so he turned the setting to keep warm but that after half an hour the edges were burned but the inside was still raw. Any suggestions? Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
Life Made Full says
Hmm. I’m not sure? It could be that his crock pot just cooks fast/hotter than mine? So far I haven’t heard from anyone else on this. I’m sorry it didn’t turn out!

I made these during my snow day and they turned out fantastic!! I halved the sugar and coconut oil but they still were delicious. My husband said they reminded him of macaroons because of the coconut, but I didn’t get that. I think my crockpot cooks way faster than yours because I only cooked them for an hour and a half and they came out so moist.
Do you know how many calories are in them (I shudder to think about it!)?
Life Made Full says
Hi, Emily! Glad they turned out–I’m not sure on calories, but you may be able to Google the ingredients? Sorry I’m not more help!

I would so be making these if I had a crockpot available right now. One is cooling off some chicken bone broth and the other is making our rump roast for dinner. Darn!
