I got my mom a Stitch Fix surprise box last year, and it was a big hit!
If you are not familiar with Stitch Fix and how it works, you can read my previous post HERE! I broke it down in three easy steps. =)
My stylist Christina nailed it again. In my note to her, I asked her to surprise me, and maybe to throw in a pair of shoes (did you know Stitch Fix does shoes now??). I was looking for some fun, spring-inspired pieces that would speak “happy” when I put them on. =) She did an incredible job!
Diba Alita Embellished Thong Sandal
I love these! They’re casual, comfy, and the boho flair is totally cute. I’ve had them for about a week now, and I’ve worn them almost every day! I’d say for my first experience with Stitch Fix shoes, I’m a happy customer!
Liverpool Robby 4-Way Stretch Capri Skinny Jean
I’m a pretty short person (5’2″), and I have to admit, I was skeptical that I would like capris. I always feel like they make me look stumpy. First of all, these felt like butter. Butter. And I mean that in a good way. Secondly, I don’t know if it’s the way they flare a teensy bit at the bottom, or just where they land on my calf, but I didn’t feel stumpy at all! What do you think? Do they make me look extra short?
Papermoon Larky Knit Top
This shirt is nice & comfy, and is a great “wear around town” top. I love that it is dressier than a t-shirt, but pretty much feels like one. =) Makes it so that I can be completely casual and comfy, without looking sloppy.
Collective Concepts Leonore Dress
I have received more compliments on this dress than any other dress I own! It sure makes a gal feel swell when other people notice what she’s wearing. Initially, I wasn’t sure about that gap near my cleavage…I didn’t want to be flashing people all day. But, Superman said it was a definite keeper, and once I had the dress on, the gap wasn’t as bad as I thought. And, I feel like a delicate pearl when I’m wearing it. Well, kinda.
Market & Spruce Colibri Sleeveless Top
This is another piece that I’ve received multiple compliments on! There’s something about the neckline that I love, makes me feel feminine, and is a perfect fit on me. Absolute LOVE! Probably my favorite piece of the bunch, although it was definitely hard to decide.
What it all meant for my pocket book:
Total: 304.00
Buy 5 (25%) discount: -76.00
Styling fee credit: -20.00
Total due: $208.00

I love the Stitch Fix concept! You look great in everything…as with all the other bloggers that I’ve seen in their Stitch -Fix goods! But I have noticed that ya’ll have beautiful figures. I’m about 20 pounds over weight so I’m not sure if having someone else shop for me would work in my case! 🙁

Sabrina, I have MANY friends who have a little more to love on who have had much success with Stitch Fix! They fit up to size 14 right now. It’s worth trying–you never know, you may end up loving it! =)

Yay!!!!! I’ve been waiting to try Stitch Fix, but I think I’ll go ahead and try now. Thanks for the rebate–it’s what pushed me over. Is there any fee if I send it all back? I know you showed that if you keep all five items you get a discount, right?
Shanti Landon says
Hi, Christie! If you send back everything, they keep the $20 styling fee. But if you keep just one item, that $20 gets applied to your purchase. =) Also, if I have a few items that I’m not really sure about keeping, I will just keep them all for the discount, and then sell in the Stitch Fix buy/sell/trade group on Facebook! And yes, if you keep all five items, you get a 25% discount! Totally makes it worth it! Here’s a link to the FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/716325188437218/
Let me know if you have anymore questions!

Looks like your stylist did a great job! I have been enjoying Stitch Fix as well 🙂 It is definitely a more fun way to “shop”.

I love your blog. I’ve been surfing Pinterest for a few days just to see if anyone has gotten anything that I’ve received from SF and I’ve been unlucky to find those posts. I decided to sign up for SF after getting out of the Army because I really don’t know how to dress AND I hate shopping because I’m short, curvy, and well, about 20 lbs overweight (since leaving the military). I love all of your clothes in this selection, and I love the way that you write your reviews.

Thank you so much, Melissa!
