I did it! I can’t believe it, but I went 61 days without eating any junk. By “junk,” I mean GMO candy and/or treats or anything I would consider junk. I still ate THESE (obviously didn’t buy them through Amazon, though! $12.99?!) as my little treats. I still ate home-baked goods. And I feel great!
I feel like I conquered the world, getting through trick-or-treating last weekend, pounds and pounds of candy sitting around our house all week, and not having even ONE bite. Even the Reese’s and Twix lay neglected. The smell pulled me in a couple times, but I held strong. I didn’t feel deprived, mad or annoyed. I owned that challenge!
I don’t say this to brag, I say it to empower you. For anyone who knows me and knows my past battles with sugar addiction, you know this is a big deal! And if I can do it, you can do it, too! Why wait?
What’s junk to you? Try going without that junk for a week, two weeks, a month….longer! You’ll seriously feel like you can take on the freakin’ Mafia when you’re done.
