Hilarious! So funny! The last seed into your mouth went down the front to your shirt! Smooth move, Shanti! 😀 Looks like me eating pomegranate arils. 😀 We’ve tried all three methods in the past and still go back and forth with all three methods. Either way, it’s a lot of dang work for something so delicious, but so worth the work. 😀 I’d grow an acre of pomegranate bushes, if I could!

I recently discovered the spank method, and I love it. It makes a splattery mess to be sure, but is so much faster than anything else! I hold my hand under the pomegranate, so the seeds fall into my hand before spilling over into the bowl–that way I never smack myself with the spoon. Only way to make it worth my time!

Very funny. I actually do a combination of 1 and 3. I score it and then release them under water. My daughter goes through the seeds like crazy. I don’t like the spank method because I find that too many of the seeds break. Not worth the speed to have that much loss.
