This homemade tartar sauce is so simple, it’s almost embarrassing. I think tartar sauce is normally made with sweet pickles, but I don’t care for them, so I used dill in mine!
Servings |
|
- 1/2 cup homemade garlic mayo minus the basil
- 2 TBSP minced dill pickle
- 1/2 tsp dried dill
- 1 TBSP lemon juice
Ingredients
|
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, and serve with some fish! Or, just eat big spoonfuls (ick!) like my son did.

Oh this was sooooo good! I kept the basil in mine (actually I messed up and didn’t read the reipe all the way through that I was supposed to leave it out) and this was amazing! There was only one problem…my family ate way more walleye than we usually do because of this sauce and now my husband and I have no leftovers for lunch! Our fish meals will never be the same again!
