I haven’t had parfait in forever! When I found out about Silk’s dairy-free yogurt alternative, I was excited to put together a fun, fresh dairy free parfaits recipe that my whole family could enjoy.
I’m helping to spread the word about the new #TopItTuesday buzz going around! Instead of just eating something boring, let’s have fun and come up with something new on Tuesdays!
This yogurt alternative has 6 grams of plant-powered protein per serving, is an excellent source of calcium and vitamin D, and has no cholesterol, dairy, lactose, gluten, carrageenan or casein.
Here’s What You Need (for one dairy free parfaits):
1 container Silk dairy-free yogurt alternative (I used vanilla)
About 1/3 cup chopped of each: strawberries, oranges, pineapple, kiwi, blueberries. Or, if you’re feeling creative, throw in whatever other fruits you’d like!
Here’s What You Do:
Put a spoonful of the yogurt alternative on the base of a tall glass. Add the strawberries and oranges, then add more of the yogurt alternative. Continue to layer until all the fruit and yogurt alternative is used up. Serve chilled. This was a huge hit at my house!
