We’ve lived out in the country for about seven years now. I would never have thought I would be a country girl growing up–I lived in a small town, but everything was in walking distance. I never had livestock or even knew how to take care of them.
Fast forward some years (a lady never tells), and now I’ve slaughtered chickens all by myself, raised pigs and goats and sheep (and a llama!), scooped poop, and accidentally stepped on lizards. It’s all part of country life!
I love living out on a farm. The space, the cows mooing in the distance, the crickets and frogs at night, the stars…it’s all just a beautiful package of contentment.

fun tour, thanks. I truly miss living on a farm. We did not have all you do, but did have horses and an awesome garden in Illinois.

How FUN! I really enjoyed being able to see your farm and hear your sweet voice! I hope we can get together sometime! I always enjoy our chats and it would be such a blessing to spend time together in person! Praying for God’s abundant blessings for you and your family! xoxo
