Bombfell review – Stitch Fix for Men?
Superman has been watching from the sidelines as I have received my Stitch Fix box each month. Last month, he asked me why they don’t have Stitch Fix for men? So I did a little research, and just happened to come across Bombfell. Here is my Bombfell Review.
Bombfell is a men’s clothing and personal styling subscription service. With Bombfell, you get sent the clothing, can try it on at home, and then figure out what you love and want to purchase. It’s an excellent service for a busy guy, or someone like Superman who just doesn’t like to shop.
I decided to surprise Superman with a box! I filled out his style profile, and opted for 4 surprise items to “Update the Basics.” The other options are “
Now, before we move on, I need to tell you that Superman is the epitome of casual. He hates pants or jeans, anything constricting, and material that isn’t soft. So I was curious to see what his stylist could come up with that he may actually like.
Ok, onto the review! (Make sure you scroll down to the bottom of the post to see how you can get $25 off your first order with Bombfell!)
PX CLOTHING LEON PRINTED SHORT ($55)
Yup, he works out…actually, once he even went to the gym! I mean, he sat in the lobby and watched TV, but he was there!
I wasn’t sure how he would feel about these, because they’re a little shorter than he’s typically used to, and the material isn’t as soft as he normally likes, but he said he really liked them! Loved the color, not something he would typically buy, but not too far outside of his comfort zone.
Verdict: Kept

THREADS 4 THOUGHT CREW NECK SS TEE ($38)
Hands off, ladies! He’s taken!
Look at those huge pecks… (oh, and the quality of the shirt)
I know $38 seems pricey for a t-shirt, but honestly, this has got to be the thickest, highest-quality t-shirt I’ve ever seen! Considering we are entering winter, and Superman wears shorts and t-shirts year-round, the extra thickness goes a long way. The color wasn’t anything to write home about, but it’s neutral, versatile, and comfortable. All good things in Superman’s book!
Verdict: Kept
GRAYERS MARLOWE SLUB PIQUE POLO ($68)
This is one of my favorite colors on Superman, so I was super glad he liked it! It’s a basic polo, but again, great quality and definitely something he will wear regularly to his job as a high school teacher. It’s his pretty standard look. If you want to accessorize a bit, a Swiss watch is highly recommended. Find a local watch service provider if your watch needs to be repaired.
Verdict: Kept
PX CLOTHING DOUBLE POCKET HOODED PARKA JACKET ($90)
Super manly:
Also, super manly…
This was the one item neither one of us were really excited about. It seemed a little bit short, and Superman already has a jacket pretty similar to this one. His biggest complaint: the inside of the arms weren’t soft! It’s always difficult for him to find jackets that are actually fleece-lined all the way through. It’s rare for the sleeves to be soft.
Even though we could tell this is great quality, it wasn’t something Superman loved, so we decided to send it back.
Verdict: Sent back

A couple great features about Bombfell:
*You get to preview items before they ship! A day or two before your clothes get packaged to ship, you can take a look to see if you’d like to “deny” anything. Love that!
*You can request certain types of clothing (jeans, shorts, shirts, accessories, etc.) or let them surprise you!
*Free returns and free shipping
Want to sign your man up for Bombfell? You can check it out HERE. There’s really no drawback–if he doesn’t love everything, he can send one item back, or send it all back, and shipping is free. And, unlike Stitch Fix, there’s no styling fee, so you don’t lose anything if he ends up not loving anything!
And a BIG BONUS: You get $25 off your first order if you order at Bombfell with my invite link!

Would like to see an edit to this article now that Stitch Fix is offering men’s clothing. I like what I see from both services… I just signed up for Stitch Fix and I’m thinking about doing Bombfell also.
