This week was two of our kiddos' adoption day! Eight years ago, we brought home siblings: a three-year-old boy and a one-year-old girl, who we named Michael and Naomi. After more than a year in foster care and multiple homes, they blessed our home and found a forever family with Superman and I (and our other two sons, and soon after, their baby sister). Every year, we celebrate our kids' adoption days with a fun family activity. This year, my brother and his family just happened ... continue reading...
When “mom” is the first word on their lips
I'm sitting here in the emergency room with my second oldest son, Josh, surrounded by a sea of coughing, screaming babies, and a woman vomiting (literally) right next to me. I feel like I'm in a third world country. I don't know what happened to our healthcare system (well, I kind of do...), but I wish I could share a photo of what this room looks like. Travel-Friendly Paleo Snacks!
Travel-friendly Paleo snacks This summer is going to be busy for the Life Made Full family! It is, after all, the happiest place on earth, right?? Traveling while eating Paleo can be a ... continue reading...

All of them. Thankfully, it wasn't a stomach bug, but it did come with a nasty headache, body aches and fever. And loss of appetite. It used to be that anytime my kids were hit with an illness (especially a stomach bug), if there was any danger of dehydration, I would run to the store and grab some ... continue reading...
Lemon Garlic Pork Chops
Lemon Garlic Pork Chops I've never been a huge pork chop fan. It always seem that they're kind of dry. Or maybe it's that I'm overcooking them. Regardless, they just aren't my favorite. Give me a good steak over a pork chop any day. That is, until these Lemon Garlic Pork Chops. These are a breeze to throw together for any weeknight dinner, and are tender, succulent, and packed with flavor. It got the gold star approval from all five of my kiddos and Superman, so ... continue reading...
