Eat Like a Dinosaur! I have to say, when this book came in the mail, I was pretty darn excited! Matthew and Stacy are two incredible parents who began their Paleo journey back in 2010. And if you haven't already seen how far they've come in such a short amount of time, you can check that out HERE. It's a wonderfully motivating story and brings a huge smile to my face to see what this lifestyle has done for them. One thing I love about this cookbook is the short story in the beginning ... continue reading...
Day 1 Microwave Fast Recap
I'm well into Day 2 of my microwave fast, and it's going swimmingly! In fact, it's going so well, that I'm making this into a one-week microwave fast. And then...who knows? I may never look back. A few things I've learned so far: No microwave means more planning ahead Superman has a sweet potato every morning with his breakfast. Almond Flour Italian Crackers

Here are 5 of my favorite tips for creative uses of the microwave: 1. Sanitize your sponges Grossed out about just how many old bits of food and germs are lurking in your sponge? Put a damp sponge in the microwave on high ... continue reading...
A New 48-hour Challenge…Who’s In?
This is taking some serious guts. I'm actually a little scared. This appliance is a staple in our home: from re-heating my tea about 20 times to keep it hot, to cooking veggies, to quickly re-heating food for lunch or dinner, it has become a necessity. I'm completely reliant on it. And that would be ok, but I have long questioned the long-term effects of using this kitchen tool. And I'm sure you know what it is by now: the microwave. For starters, I'm not a whacko. At least, I don't think I ... continue reading...
