We have a new president, but we need a new precedent.

As the days after the election have played out, I think we’ve probably all started to tire from the negativity on social media. I know many people have just decided to take a break from Facebook to maintain their sanity.

As Superman and I were on our morning walk today, we were talking about how our culture needs some encouragement. We have a new president, but what we need now is a new precedent. We need to be the ones guiding the culture, and it’s us who decides how things will look from here on out. 

After brainstorming for a bit, we decided reaching out to someone who was on the “opposite side” as us would be a good start. So that’s what we did:

As Henry Ford said, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”
