This is seriously the easiest tri-tip recipe ever. Well, I guess it ties with my Skillet Tri-Tip when it comes to simplicity. But it’s a fun twist on a simple recipe, and it’s delicious!
Recipe: Blackberry Beer Tri-Tip
1 tri-tip
1 bottle gluten-free blackberry pear cider (see below for what I used)
salt
Place tri-tip in a large Ziploc bag. Pour beer over it and let marinate in the fridge for at least an hour, turning a couple times. Here’s the awesome “beer” I used. It’s actually hard cider, made completely from blackberries and pears that are fermented:
Now, you can either fire up your grill and grill the meat until desired doneness, or you can put it in the oven for about 30-40 minutes at 350, and sprinkle with some salt. Whichever you prefer! Seriously easy, and really, really yummy! You can get a larger grill, or a smaller, travel grill to easily take with you on-the-go for a camping trip or tailgating party, shop now here!
Oh, and those sweet potatoes? I just baked them in the oven the day before, peeled off the skin, basted with some olive oil and garlic salt, and threw them on the grill!
