  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Grease canning jars with coconut oil or butter.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips and set aside.
  4. Whisk together the eggs, syrup and coconut oil or butter.
  5. Stir in the almond flour, baking soda and salt.
  6. Stir in melted chocolate chips.
  7. Spoon in enough batter to fill up about 3/4 full (if you don’t want yours to overflow like mine did, probably a bit more than 1/2 full would be good…makes for a good picture, though!)
  8. Place onto baking sheet and bake in oven for 30-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. *Keep an eye on it after 30 minutes, though–you don’t want to over cook them!

Want to take these on the go, or give them as a gift to friends? Just fill 1/2 way with batter (maybe a teensy bit less) and once they are cooled, screw on the lid! Perfect gift or fun little treat to take with you!

PS–I’ve heard you can sterilize the jars and lids and potentially be able to keep these for longer, but I haven’t verified this yet.
